Woman suffering life-threatening injuries from overnight crash
Desert Inn was closed in both directions between Arville Street and Decatur Boulevard nearly five hours while police investigated.
Mark Jolly, 65, of Las Vegas was eastbound in a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle on Desert Inn Road west of Schirll Avenue, near the intersection of Arville Street, when he struck the female pedestrian outside of a marked crosswalk at about 3:30 a.m. The woman was brought to University Medical Center Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
