Man walking on U.S. 19 in Hudson struck, killed

A pedestrian in the center lane of U.S. 19 in Hudson was struck by a car and killed early Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Owens was walking in the center lane of U.S. 19 when he was struck by a car and killed. He was declared dead at the scene. The car was driven by Angel D. Hidalgo-Rivera, 26. There are no charges against him currently, and an alcohol test is pending.
