The collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Shoreway at approximately 10 p.m. Authorities said the two men were pronounced deceased at the crash site. The victims are identified as 38-year-old Francis Suhar and 37-year-old Michael Davis. There is no word on what caused the crash.
At about 4:30 a.m., Rowland was driving a car east on Route 2 when he for some reason veered into the guardrail and flipped multiple times down an embankment, ejecting him from the vehicle in the process. He was found dead at the scene.
The fatal accident happened at 3:40 a.m. at the intersection of Route 2 and the Foxwoods Employee Parking Lot. The driver of a Toyota Corolla driving westbound on Route 2 made an improper turn and crossed into the eastbound lane. The Toyota then collided with a Cadillac Escalade driving eastbound.
Craig Viotta was driving his truck on Route 2 when he failed to yeild to an oncoming car. The driver of that car was Krishna Kadaveru, who had three family members in the car.
