A 24-year-old Lake Mills woman was killed Sunday when her snowmobile hit a patch of open water and slid into trees along a riverbank, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said.

A missing snowmobiler was found dead after he apparently crashed on an ice-covered lake in Walworth County over the weekend.
Steven Gove, a 56-year-old mail carrier, was on his delivery route when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Gove was wearing a neon reflective vest and his three-wheeled delivery bike had front and rear flashers on.
At around 11 a.m. Wednesday, the 17-year-old driver of a pickup truck, Ricardo E. Santillan, opened his door to examine a possible mechanical issue.
Police have identified a man killed in a hit-and-run early Wednesday. The crash happened at Silver Spring Drive and Lovers Lane in Milwaukee.

After midnight on Wednesday, an SUV was northbound on N. 29th Street when its driver failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a westbound car on W. Locust Street.  The SUV then struck a light pole, and the car collided with a fence.
Milwaukee police said a 16-year-old boy is dead after a crash early Thursday. The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. near North 33rd Street and Capitol Drive.
