Flight for Life called to serious crash in Mount Pleasant; driver arrested for OWI
A passenger in the front seat of the Ford truck had to be extricated and flown via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital due to his severe injuries. At this time he is in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit being treated for those injuries.

Driver in Monday crash charged
Christopher Hetchler, 20, of the 5300 block of Shirley Avenue in Mount Pleasant, faces a total of four charges stemming from a crash that took place at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 90th Street at about 10:30 Monday. The penalty for the most severe charge — use of a vehicle with a controlled substance in his blood while causing great bodily harm — could amount result in 7½ years behind bars, if Hetchler is convicted.

UPDATE: Identity of victim in OWI crash released
Aaron L. Lundquist, 34, of Racine, succumbed to his injuries at 3:33 a.m. Friday morning, Racine County Medical Examiner Michael Payne said. According to Payne, Lundquist suffered internal injuries and numerous fractures in the crash.
