Lamarr Banks killed in hit-and-run collision at Appleton and Burleigh streets in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

A local family is seeking justice after a Milwaukee man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning. A vehicle fatally struck Lamarr Banks, an Iraq war veteran and father of three, near the intersection of Appleton and Burleigh streets and then fled the scene. To make matters worse, Banks recently celebrated the birth of another son and his 3-year-old daughter is being treated for leukemia. 'œWe know somebody knows something,'€ Derrick Banks said. '€œWe just want them to come forward. Police said it is clear Lamarr Banks was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.
