One person were severely injured in a rear-end crash on Highway 151 Wednesday afternoon, Dodge County sheriff’s officials said. Dodge County emergency crews responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Highway 151 south of Forest Road in the town of Calamus around 12:45 p.m., according to a release. Charles Scheuerell, 87, of Nashotah, was driving a 2007 Buick south on Highway 151 in the inside lane, investigators said. When Scheuerell slowed down to make a left turn at the median crossover, Mark DeHeck, 47, of Kewaskum, hit him from behind in his 2005 Envoy.

An 87-year-old man who was injured in a crash in Dodge County Wednesday afternoon has died, an official said. Dodge County sheriff'€™s officials said Charles Scheuerell, of Nashotah, was severely injured in Wednesday's crash and flown by helicopter for treatment Wednesday. On Friday at 6:17 p.m., Scheuerell died at UW Hospital, Dodge County sheriff's Sgt. Dodge County emergency crews responded to reports of a crash on Highway 151 south of Forest Road in the town of Calamus around 12:45 p.m. He was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital, but was immediately flown to UW Hospital but died two days later.
