One person were severely injured in a rear-end crash on Highway 151 Wednesday afternoon, Dodge County sheriff’s officials said. Dodge County emergency crews responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Highway 151 south of Forest Road in the town of Calamus around 12:45 p.m., according to a release. Charles Scheuerell, 87, of Nashotah, was driving a 2007 Buick south on Highway 151 in the inside lane, investigators said. When Scheuerell slowed down to make a left turn at the median crossover, Mark DeHeck, 47, of Kewaskum, hit him from behind in his 2005 Envoy.

An 87-year-old man who was injured in a crash in Dodge County Wednesday afternoon has died, an official said. Dodge County sheriff's officials said Charles Scheuerell, of Nashotah, was severely injured in Wednesday's crash and flown by helicopter for treatment Wednesday. On Friday at 6:17 p.m., Scheuerell died at UW Hospital, Dodge County sheriff's Sgt. Dodge County emergency crews responded to reports of a crash on Highway 151 south of Forest Road in the town of Calamus around 12:45 p.m. He was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital, but was immediately flown to UW Hospital but died two days later.
