Pedestrian killed on Nakoosa Trail, police say

A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed on Madison's east side Saturday morning, police said. Madison police said officers responded to a report of a crash with injuries on the 4100 block of Nakoosa Trail at 7:24 a.m. Part of Nakoosa trail was still closed at 9:25 a.m. as police investigated the incident. According to the report, Police are in contact with the driver of the vehicle.

Madison police say suspect was 'huffing' before fatal crash

Madison police say a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian had been "huffing" fumes from a spray can before he struck and killed a pedestrian. Fifty-one-year-old Anthony Minardi was fatally injured while he was walking down a sidewalk Saturday morning.
