Two people suffer life-threatening injuries in truck-motorcycle accident

The incident happened at the corner of Wisconsin Highway 69 and County Highway P in the Town of Clarno just before 9 p.m. The sheriff's department said the Donahues were wearing eye protection but no helmets. Hoffman and his passenger, Grace Hoffman, 79, of Monroe weren't hurt in the crash. The sheriff's department said the driver of the truck, Gary Hoffman, 72, of Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. The Green County Sheriff's Department said two people had to be taken by Med Flight to the hospital late Thursday night after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck south of Monroe.
