35-Year-Old Jane Lew Woman Killed in Route 19 Vehicle Accident
According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 7 p.m., Erin Marshall-Heater, 35, was traveling in a Chevrolet Aveo on Route 19 in Jane Lew, when Whitney Chipps, 26, of Salem, drifted into her lane and struck her head-on.

Her trial for the charge of child neglect is scheduled for the week of February 27. She was recently arraigned in Lewis County Circuit Court on the DUI causing death charge.
