Runaway Tractor Trailer Crashes Into Telephone Pole In Fairmont

Power was knocked out in parts of Fairmont Tuesday, after a driverless truck struck two utility poles at the intersection of Jackson Street and Cleveland Avenue. What's even more incredible, is no one was hurt.   According to officials on scene, the driver of the truck was having issues with his brakes throughout the day. Apparently, he was working underneath it when it began rolling forward across three lanes of traffic, took down a utility pole and street light, mounted the sidewalk, struck multiple cars and dumpster, and finally came to forceful stop when it smashed into a second utility pole.
