Names Released In Barbour County Triple Fatal

Route 250 has reopened following a fatal accident that happened Tuesday night in Barbour County.

"People aren't paying very much attention to lights and sirens anymore. We have a hard time getting where we need to go because of that," said Chief Jeff Walters, Philippi Police Department. 
Three people have been killed after a car crashed into a fire truck along Route 250 in Barbour County. The Honda CR-V was holding 75-year-old Joseph Kuzinar, 65-year-old Linda Diane Kuzinar, and 38-year-old Jessica L. Paczal. All three are from the Morgantown area. Five members from the Philippi Fire Department were on the fire engine when the accident occured. They were taken to Broaddus Hospital and later released. The Honda pulled out from 4-H Camp Road, onto Route 250 and into the path of the Philippi fire truck which was on it's way to a structure fire and had lights and sirens that were activated. The fire truck was unable to stop before colliding with the Honda.
