Truck hits house in SR-410 crash; 2 hurt

Two men were injured Thursday afternoon when a pickup rolled on State Route 410 and hit a house, the Washington State Patrol reported. Richard D. Rosales, 24, of Naches was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was in satisfactory condition Friday afternoon. His passenger, 19-year-old Riley Hibbs of Moxee, was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released. Investigators said they did not know whether Hibbs was wearing a seat belt.

Troopers said Rosales was driving eastbound about 3:30 p.m. when he missed a curve and crossed Old River Road in a Toyota Tacoma. The pickup rolled and struck a house. The crash was blamed on excessive speed; intoxicants were not involved.
