Charles Bowen, 53, killed and two children injured in boating collision on Lake Anna in Spotsylvania County, Virginia

Now, investigators are still trying to figure out who was operating that third boat Bowen was trying to avoid, and whether they even know they were involved. There were still no leads in the case Monday afternoon.   

“Chuck did everything he could to save those kids on that tube.  I don’t think they are here today if it’s not for Chuck, I think he sacrificed his own life,” said Breeden.   

A third boat involved in a deadly July 1 incident on Lake Anna has been located, according to the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
