Man struck crossing Hull Street Road dies

Officials said a man was crossing Hull Street Road when he was hit by a vehicle traveling west. CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — An investigation is underway after a fatal accident involving a pedestrian along Hull Street Road Friday morning. Chesterfield police said the accident happened in the 12000 block of Hull Street Road around 7 a.m. Stay with WTVR.com and watch CBS 6 News for updates on this developing story. The pedestrian was transported to Chippenham Hospital, but he later died of his injuries.

Police did not indicate whether or not the driver of the vehicle will face charges as the investigation is ongoing.
