Motorcyclist dies after I-15 wreck in southern Utah

TOQUERVILLE, Washington County ' An Arizona man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on I-15 Thursday in southern Utah. The Vulcan didn't appear to have any mechanical problems before the wreck, the highway patrol reported. Investigators said it was unclear why the Kawasaki Vulcan that Hintz was riding left the roadway. Hintz, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown about 15 to 20 feet from his motorcycle. Allen Hintz, of Congress, Arizona, was northbound on I-15 about 15 miles north of Toquerville just after 9:30 p.m. when his motorcycle veered to the left and hit a barrier in the freeway median, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
