Fred Gunn Jr., 89, died in a head-on collision with a semi-truck on state Highway 21 in Kennard, Texas

Around 10:25 a.m., Gunn was traveling southwest in a 2013 Ford pickup on Highway 21 when the vehicle experienced a blowout, causing the Ford to drive into the oncoming lane, where it struck a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer head-on, according to the report. The Ford then caught fire.
