Motorcyclist killed after losing control and colliding with guardrail in San Antonio, TX.

A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning after losing control and crashing into a guardrail near downtown, according to officials and media reports.

The motorcyclist lost control on U.S. 281 at N. St. Mary's around 3 a.m. Sunday and crashed into a guardrail, local media reported. The driver was thrown over the guardrail onto the street below.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed a person died at 3:05 a.m. on N. St. Mary's at U.S. 281.
