Four victims in Fredericksburg crash identified
According to DPS, the driver of a white Toyota car was traveling westbound in the inside lane when it lost control and struck a brown Chevrolet traveling west in the outside lane, causing the car to veer over the double yellow center line and into the eastbound lane. A white Chevrolet Suburban traveling east in the inside lane collided with the Toyota, and the pickup truck struck a tree.
Speed reduced on US 290 near Fredericksburg after deadly crash
The drop from 70 to 60 m.p.h. comes after three-vehicle crash claimed the lives of four people in December. Community members requested a speed study on the 14-mile section on 290.
