Three workers were killed in an oil field rig explosion early Tuesday morning at a West Texas well site in Upton County. The site is located in Upton County, Texas, near Rankin, about 40 miles south of Midland. The deceased workers, Arturo Martinez Jr., Arturo Martinez Sr., and Rojelio Salgado, were employed by Mason Well Service of Odessa, Texas, and the well site is owned by Parsley Energy.
