Weimar is located about 90 miles west of Houston, and about 110 miles east of San Antonio.

The bus is owned by Transportes Del Norte and was reportedly coming from El Paso.

The accident was reported before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at mile marker 682 in Colorado County/Weimar.

The Department of Public Safety says the accident happened on Interstate 10 at Mile Marker 682 and involved a passenger bus and two tractor trailers. A white car was also seen on the scene being hauled away on a flatbed truck.

DPS: 2 dead, 30 injured in crash in Weimar

Injured person were transported to two hospitals: the Colorado Community Hospital and the St. Marks Hospital in La Grange.

The Texas DPS says a passenger bus hit the back of an 18-wheeler, which caused the rig to strike a car on Interstate 10. Photos of the scene show that a second semi appears to have been involved. The bus driver may not have noticed that traffic was slowing for construction. The deceased were identified as bus driver Miguel Angel Tobalina-Gonzalez, 31, and bus passenger Roman Juan Domicilio, 34. Both men were ejected out of the front of the vehicle.  All of the 30 injured were all aboard the bus, and they were taken to hospitals in Columbus and La Grange. Check back for updates on this developing story.
