Tractor-trailer collides with a Kansas City Southern Freight train at an intersection in northeast Houston. No injuries reported.

Authorities are investigating what caused a train to collide with an 18-wheeler crash in northeast Houston.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on Liberty Road at E. Houston Street.

A hazmat team with the Houston Fire Department responded to the scene to assist with cleaning up debris from the accident.

Officials say a Kansas City Southern train was involved in the crash.
