Four people, including the mother of the children, have been rescued and are en route to the hospital. They were all reported to be wearing life jackets. At this hour, two people are unaccounted for.

Authorities say a woman who'd been on board swam to shore Sunday night and reached an apartment complex to summon help. Emergency personnel then located five other people, including a 4-year-old boy who was transported to a hospital and died Monday.
