Bluff City man killed after being struck by rollback he fell off of

BLUFF CITY -- On 7/4/15 just after 10 p.m., officers with the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a crash on private property in the 4000 block of Weaver Pike in Bluff City. The SCSO Fatal Incident Reconstruction Support Team(F.I.R.S.T.) responded to the scene to investigate. Based on statements from witnesses, the victim was riding on the bed of the truck as it traveled through a field when he fell off. The victim in the crash, identified as Josey Baker, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was then struck by the vehicle resulting in fatal injuries.
