Teen Dead After High-Speed Pursuit Ends In Crash
Officials with Smyrna Police said officers tried to pull over a truck carrying six teenagers following an attempted burglary at Smyrna Gun and Pawn.
Officers eventually deployed spike strips to stop the truck. At that point, the driver ran off the road and struck a ditch.

The suspect killed in an early morning wreck Monday in Smyrna has been identified as Kevonte Jernigan, 19, of Nashville, said Sgt. Bobby Gibson, public information officeler for the Smyrna Police Department, Monday afternoon.
