Woman killed after car crashes into condo
According to Metro police, the driver was headed south on Sawyer Brown Road when he lost control, hit a pole, crossed several yards and George Patton Road before driving into the victim’s home.
Investigators told News 2 the car went so far into the home; it almost went through a second condo.

According to police, Harris and his passenger left the scene before they arrived, but they traced the car tag to Harris and found out he lived nearby. Officers found him and his passenger covered in drywall dust on the side of the road not long after the crash.

Harris has been arrested for drunk driving before in 2009, 2011 and 2014. In two of the three cases, Harris pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
The longest sentence Harris has received was 10 days in jail after his third DUI arrest.
