5-year-old dies three days after van-ambulance crash
All five of her children, ages two through seven, were in the vehicle.
A Roane County girl died Saturday days after a collision involving an ambulance and a minivan carrying the child's family on New Years Eve. Lillian Creek, 5, died three days after the crash on Highway 95 in Loudon County. Her mother, Jessica Creek, was driving a van when she crossed the highway's center line and collided with a Rural/Metro ambulance. Rescue crews transported the family to UT Medical Center, and then transferred Lillian and her 7-year-old brother to Children's Hospital. It is not yet known why the van crossed the center line.
