Moped rider killed in 501 crash, one charged
Police said the occupant on the moped, 35 year-old Brandi Lee Haines of Myrtle Beach, died on the scene from injuries sustained from the accident. Highway Patrol said the other occupant was transported to Grand Strand Medical Center. It is unclear if the victim was the driver or passenger of the moped.
