Child airlifted to hospital following Upstate hit-and-run, officials say
According to police, the hit-and-run happened on Sanders Street in Honea Path.
The family of the child identified him as Jayce Rainey, 5.

New said David Nelson Duphiney, 58 years old, was quickly taken into custody.
The Anderson County Detention Center website says Duphiney is charged with hit-and-run with great bodily injury.
