The baby is at Children's Hospital in critical condition, officials said. Channel 11's Pamela Osborne reported an 88-year-old man was driving the vehicle, and hit the gas instead of the brake.

A pregnant woman, Jodie Guthrie, was walking in the parking lot of a Rite Aid in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle driven by an 88-year-old man, who reportedly hit the gas instead of the brake. She was rushed to the hospital where she later died from her injuries, but medics were able to deliver the baby by c-section. The baby, Trace Joseph Weatherwalk, is listed in critical condition.
