Cal U. student dies after Route 88 rollover crash

A rollover crash killed a California University of Pennsylvania student and injured three other people Monday night in Washington County. The death of Mason Reiff, a student in the communication studies program, was confirmed Tuesday by a university spokeswoman. Police said the car landed on its roof on Route 88 in California, with the driver and three passengers inside. Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the others were flown by helicopter. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Driver charged in crash that killed a Cal U student

Quinton Dean Shaner, 21, of Elizabeth is charged with homicide by vehicle and reckless endangerment in the Nov. 2 crash that killed Mason Michael Reiff, a 21-year-old from Denver in Lancaster County.
