American Idol Fatal Crash: Bloomfield Teen Gets Probation After Tragic I-95 Accident
On Thursday, a Bucks County Juvenile Court judge sentenced LeeAnn Manochio, 18, of Bloomfield, to indefinite probation and ordered her to perform 250 hours of community service.
Authorities have identified the victims of Sunday's fatal collision on I-95 North in Bucks County.Natasha Bellott of Bloomfield, N.J., died in the wreck, which happened before 7 p.m. Sunday in Lower Makefield Township. Police say Bellott, 20, had attended "American Idol" auditions at Temple University's Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. Witnesses told authorities the Jeep Liberty SUV carrying the group was traveling at high speeds when it rolled over.Leslie McCoy, 19, of Monclair, N.J., remains hospitalized at St. Mary Medical Center. Carl Delpolito, 24, of Bloomfield, N.J., and 18-year-old Jacob Gorski of East Orange, N.J., were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Capital Health Hospital.The 17-year-old female driver, from Belleville, N.J., and a 16-year-old female passenger, from Bloomfield, N.J., were also being treated at Capital Health for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the wreck happened after the Jeep's driver passed another vehicle in the right shoulder of I-95 North.The SUV then crossed both northbound lanes into the median and rolled multiple times, ejecting three of the occupants.
