Deputies say both brothers had just arrived in Ohio from Tennessee one day prior to the accident.
ATV crash kills Kingsport teen
On Friday, funeral services and burial of Anthony Joseph Kaiser, 18, were held in Salem, Ohio. He was visiting with his mother when the Sunday crash occurred in the community of Damascus, on property that is owned by family friends.
MAN FATALLY INJURED IN ATV CRASH
He and his brother, Dan A. Kaiser, 19, were each riding an ATV in a field behind a property in the 29000 block of U.S. Route 62 in Damascus when the accident occurred. After rescue crews responded, Anthony was flown by STAT MedEvac medical helicopter, while Dan was transported by ambulance, to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
According to Columbiana County Sheriff's investigators, 18-year-old Anthony Kaiser was seriously injured Sunday evening when the ATVs he and his brother were riding collided in a field off of Route 62. Kaiser was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining serious injuries. He was airlifted to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, where he died. His brother was also taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
