Police are looking for the driver in a car crash that sent three people to the hospital.
A Pontiac G6 was driving on the ramp from I-71 north to I-270 east. Witnesses report the car was swerving back and fourth, and subsequently ran off the road and rolled over. There were three female passengers in the wrecked car. Two were thrown from the vehicle, and the other had to be extracated using the jaws of life. Reports state that 33-year-old Emily Jackson and 39-year-old Kimberly Chatfield are both in serious condition, while 36-year-old Melissa McLean is in critical condition. Each of the three were transported to Grant Medical Center. The driver escaped and fled the scene of the accident. Police continue to search for the driver and say alcohol is a likely cause of the accident. We will update this story as new information becomes available.
