Pedestrian critically injured, transported to hospital, after they are struck by a car on East Livingston Ave. in southeast Columbus.

A pedestrian was injured Monday night after being hit by a car along East Livingston Avenue in southeast Columbus.

According to Columbus police, the crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. near the intersection of East Livingston Avenue and Courtright Road.

The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

East Livingston Avenue was closed in the area while accident investigators were investigating the crash.
