Drag racing led to crash in Akron
Police said two vehicles were racing when they collided, causing both drivers to lose control Monday morning.

Akron man charged in drag-racing crash that left woman hospitalized
Dwaine J. Traylor, 22, of Akron, is charged with aggravated vehicular assault and hit-skip, both fourth-degree felonies.
Dwaine J. Traylor, 22, of Akron, was drag-racing with a female driver when his Mitsubishi spun out of control and struck her Corolla. He is being charged with aggravated vehicular assault, felony hit skip, drag racing, and driving under suspension. The female is in critical condition at Akron General Medical Center. A 17-year-old passenger was involved in the crash but sustained no injuries and has been released to his mother.
