One dies when Freightliners collide
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the driver of a southbound 2017 Freightliner box truck crossed the center line, striking on oncoming Freightliner semi driven by Richard Perkerewicz, 61, of Washburn.
Patrol ID's truck driver killed in collision with semi in western ND
A 51-year-old Dickinson man, the driver of a Freightliner box truck, was killed in a head-on collision with a Freightliner semi truck Wednesday, Feb. 1, along Highway 22, about 20 miles north of Killdeer in western North Dakota.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Chris Davillier was driving the 2017 box truck south when it crossed the center line and collided with the semi’s left front at 8:03 a.m. The truck came to rest on the shoulder, partially in the southbound lane while the semi came to rest in the east ditch.
