The hospital where he died said Friday that Garwood was the head of radiology there.

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says Natalia Simons of Kings Park was arraigned Wednesday on a 12-count indictment that included an aggravated vehicular homicide charge.
A Long Island woman has been charged with drunk driving after a wrong-way collision that killed a man heading home from work at a hospital radiology department. Natalia Simons, 36, of Kings Park, was traveling northbound on Route 25A in Smithtown when she crossed into the southbound lanes just after midnight Friday, slamming into a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Toyota, Larry Garwood, 59, of Island Park, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Simons was treated for her injuries. She was charged with DWI.
