A car jumped the curb and hit a woman on a Brooklyn sidewalk Tuesday afternoon, authorities say.

Police said the cab hit a flatbed truck that was also turning right onto Atlantic Avenue, lost control, and went careening onto the northwest sidewalk of the intersection, striking a 29-year-old woman, whose identity was not immediately released.
The woman who was hit was unconscious when authorities arrived. She was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The accident is under investigation.
