It wasn’t until Tuesday that Miles turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives reported it was confirmed he was connected to the hit and run.

36-year-old Concetta Eastman was attempting to get into her vehicle, which was parked on the side of Bog Hollow Road, when a vehicle driven by Randy G. Miles, 57, hit her and did not stop to render aid. Police arrived shortly after 8:00 p.m. to find Eastman severely injured, and she was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Miles was later found and arrested.
