Teenage boy and adult male injured while bicycling when struck by vehicle on Coors Boulevard South West in Bernalillo County, New Mexico

BSCO: investigating vehicle collision involving two bicyclists

An adult male was also transported to UNM Hospital with an injury to his femur. According to BCSO, a teenage boy was immediately transported to UNM Hospital with critical injuries. Captain Joshua Kingsbury says the preliminary investigation on the driver of the vehicle did not show any signs of alcohol or drug use. Saturday, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle that collided with two bicyclists on Coors Boulevard SW. BCSO says the vehicle, which had been traveling south on Coors in the right lane, struck two bicyclist riding on the white fog line. Bernalillo Deputies say the investigation is ongoing Southbound Coors Traffic is being diverted to eastbound Los Padillas while investigators finish their initial inquiry into this incident.
