Maywood police soon reported the motorcycle had apparently crashed into a car on Spring Valley Road in their town, according to authorities.

"At this time witnesses stated that the motorcycle was not being chased by the police at the time of the crash but was speeding. Paramus officers arrived at the crash site and identified the driver and motorcycle as being the same as the earlier pursuit," Ehrenberg said in an email.

Comments

This 'accident' was indeed a tragedy. I was not an eye witness, but was outside , a few houses down, on Ross Ave.  The Hackensack Police lied and stated that their sirens were on  while responding to the motorcycle accident. There were no sirens . If I heard the accident , I would have heard any sirens. there were none. Whoever on the HPD submitted false reports, stating that sirens were on, should be prosecuted for perjury and submitting a false police report.
