Thornton man killed in ATV crash

State police say speed contributed to a deadly ATV crash in Thornton on Tuesday night.

Police said Justin Atwood, 33, was riding an ATV on Waterthorn Road around 6:30 p.m. when the vehicle skidded off the roadway and into the woods. Atwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
