Koelsch, who was traveling with a four-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital with serious injuries. Cowdrey suffered minor injuries.
According to police, Cowdrey was arrested after being taken to the hospital for driving under the influence of alcohol.

It happened Wednesday night around 9 p.m. on I-89 near exit 20 in Lebanon, New Hampshire. New Hampshire State Police say Daniel Cowdrey, 38 of Hartland Vermont was traveling north in the southbound lane of the highway.

Cowdrey suffered minor injuries. He was arrested at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and was charged with felony aggravated driving while under the influence of alcohol. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
