Police: 1 dead, 1 charged with aggravated DUI after crash

New Hampshire state police say one woman is dead and another is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and negligent homicide after a one-car crash in Claremont Saturday. 

Woman charged with DWI in fatal Claremont crash held on bail

Amber King, 36, of Claremont, appeared in Newport District Court and was ordered held on $50,000 bail.

While both sides agree that King was speeding in Claremont and had illegal drugs in her system before the fatal crash on April 23, 2016, the county attorney is taking exception to remarks made by the judge at sentencing.
