Dog missing after deadly crash found in Derry Sunday

A community came together to find a dog that disappeared after a deadly crash in Chester Saturday afternoon. Granite State Dog Recovery says the couple's one-year-old golden retriever, Gracie, was in the car at the time and ran away after the crash. Granite State Dog Recovery says a family found Gracie in their yard on Chester Road in Derry and kept her safe until officers could arrive. Volunteers, including officers at the Chester police and fire departments, searched for Gracie along the Chester and Derry town line. Craig Vanier, 47, of Chester was also involved in the crash and is charged with driving under the influence.
