Amherst man charged with drunk driving after crash

Amherst Police Lt. Ronald Young told 22News that 22 year old Ailton Correia was drinking and speeding when he crashed a little after 10 Monday night.

Both Correia and his passenger were taken Baystate Medical Center for treatment. Correia has been charged with DUI and will be arraigned Friday in Eastern Hampshire District Court.
