19-year-old dies in head-on crash near Norris

The man was traveling eastbound near mile marker 6.8, when a 39-year-old westbound driver failed to negotiate a left turn in the road. The 39-year-old male crossed into the eastbound side of the road and struck the vehicle head-on, officials said.

Brown was a sophomore electrical engineering student at Montana State University in Bozeman. University spokesman Tracy Ellig says Brown was also a resident assistant in North Hedges dorm.
BBrown died when his car was hit head-on while driving on Montana Highway 84, near Norris.  He pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol did not appear to be a factor, officials said. The 39-year-old was wearing a seat belt; Brown was not.
