Charles Williams, 52, killed and one person injured in motorcycle crash on Highway 1 near Anaconda, Montana

Motorcycle crash victim identified as Lost Creek man
The patrol narrative said a pickup truck from Anaconda pulled onto Highway 1, just west of the Interstate 90 interchange, from a graveled road, and was headed eastbound, when the motorcycle, also eastbound on Highway 1, hit the truck broadside. The truck rotated counterclockwise and came to rest in a crossover lane, the report said.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
