Billings man dies, woman injured in crash near Roberts

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man's car crossed over the center line and hit the woman's sport utility vehicle head-on just after 6 p.m. Friday. The man died at the scene and the woman was flown to a Billings hospital with critical injuries.

Carbon County officials have released the name of a 22-year-old Billings man who died in a head-on crash near Roberts. Sheriff Josh McQuillan says that Anthony Zane Asay died in the crash just after 6 p.m. Asay died at the scene. The Montana Highway Patrol says Asay's car veered into the oncoming lane and struck a sport utility vehicle head-on. The woman was critically injured.
